Recently on The Hills Lauren admitted to missing her ex-BFF Heidi. Heidi told press, “I was glad to hear it… I thought it was really sweet. That really brought a big smile to my face. Obviously I miss her, and she was my best friend for a really long time. Hopefully one day we will be able to work through this and move on and patch some things up.” I really don't think they can be friends again with Spencer in the picture!

Whitney's new show is going to be called "The City" Pretty creative, right?! Anyway, she was spotted out today with her boyfriend, Jay Lyon. The City will show Whitney in New York working for fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg.

Sorority Row
Audrina has signed on to die a sadistic death in “Sorority Row,” a remake of the classic 1983 horror flick “The House on Sorority Row.” She will be a sorority sister in the film, which also stars Jamie Chung, Rumer Willis, and possibly Carrie Fisher.

Finally something Good
Finally Heidi and Spencer are doing some good. They spent some time yesterday at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) where Ryan Seacrest was broadcasting his radio show. After chatting about The Hills Speidi spent some time with the children in the hospital. Heidi talked with them about High School Musical, Camp Rock, Vanessa Hudgens, Demi Lovato and loads of other Disney movies and stars.

Ring Alert!
After Heidi and Spencer's frolic in the park they went over to Jasons of Beverly Hills and had a private showing of some pretty fancy jewelry. I think Heidi might've found a ring that outdoes the original engagement ring that Spencer bought her from the thrift store. We'll have to watch for official announcements and pictures...
Hints on the Emmy dress
The dress will be GREEN! Lauren said “I did green because green [is the] theme for the Emmys this year.” LC also mentioned that she plans on “using a diamond brooch, signifying the Emmy’s 60th anniversary, to accessorize the gown.” Can't wait to see it!

LA Candy
Lauren just signed a three book deal with HarperCollins. The books will be a young adult fiction series called LA Candy. It's loosely based on her 'transition from regular gal to recognizable face'. Lauren said, "I've always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. I'm so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers."

Conrad vs. Siriano
Lauren Conrad will take on Project Runway winner Christain Siriano this month at the Emmys. Each is designing gowns for the "trophy girls." Siriano said, "It has been so inspiring watching the Emmys every year to see who is going to be the most fabulous diva at the show. … It will be such an experience seeing my own creation on stage." He's also said some not so nice things about Lauren and her designer friends, "I mean, it's fun and flirty and young, but they're not innovators. None of them will ever be an innovative designer. Buyers and editors are looking for longevity, and hopefully they will see that in me." Tranny Hot Mess or Fierce...we'll have to see!
Biggest Jerk EVER
So I just watched this week's episode and I must say that Spencer is the biggest jerk ever! I can't believe he told Holly to get out and then when Heidi came home he pretended that he didn't even see Holly all day...I don't know how she puts up with him...Oh wait, it's for the attention. I will say my favorite quote of the episode was when Spencer walked in to the den and saw Holly sitting on the couch and he said something like, "Oh I see you are in my office." Get a job Spencer!

Brody Dating Playboy Playmate
Brody's new woman is Playboy Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole. Jenner, 25, and the Canadian model, 22, attended the MTV VMAs together this weekend. This event was their public "coming out" as a couple. The pair were also seen kissing and being affectionate at an after-party at the Chateau Marmont. is Playboy Playmate of the Year.
Brody will be starring in a new show, Bromance, in which "regular" guys from around the country compete to be his new BFF. I wonder what will happen with Frankie?!

Lo recently called it quits with her fellow UCLA beau Christian Wenger, In Touch has reported. The magazine goes on to tell that Lauren and Lo hit up Hollywood hotspot Crown Bar shortly after the split, with an insider telling: “She was drinking her troubles away. Lauren thought it would be a good idea to have a girls’ night out and get Lo’s mind off of the breakup.”

Doug sure is getting around with The Hills girls! He was Lauren's man, then rumored to meet up with Stephanie and now it looks like he might be friends with benefits with Heidi's sister, Holly....guess we'll have to wait and see.

Holly Montag, the older sister of dopey Heidi Montag from "The Hills," has been assistant to the "Girls Gone Wild" man since his release from jail in March. "His last assistant quit," said our insider. "And Joe aggressively sought out Holly to work for him." Another source told us, "She's running his life." Francis - who will do battle on "Celebrity Apprentice," and might also appear on "The Hills" this season - told us, "Holly is fantastic, probably the best assist ant I have ever had."
