How Audrina got her start

I was informed of this by a friend over the weekend and wanted to make sure everyone knows how Audrina got her start on The Hills. Apparently Lauren and Heidi were out sunbathing at the apartment pool (as they did very often) and the camera crew saw Audrina also laying out. Basically the producers approached her and asked if she would become Lauren and Heidi's "first friend" in LA and the rest is history. I wonder if MTV also got her the job at Epic Records instead of just being the receptionist at Quixote Studios???
