Updates on Whitney

October 14th Whit was out wandering. According to recent press about her upcoming show, “With a great new job at global design house, Diane von Furstenberg, a best friend from her past and a guy she’s head-over-heels for, Whitney is taking a huge chance at a brand new life. Monday, October 27th Whit was seen in Beverly Hills doing some shopping. I guess we care, right?

Halloween Costume!

Heidi was out shopping this week, as usual, and it looks like we have a glimpse of what her costume is going to be! She bought her "Reform School Girl" costume at “Trashy’s Love and Lingerie.” I wonder how many different outfits Heidi will wear at all her various parties...

Avon Hope Honors

Lauren continues to make the rounds in NYC this week. Oct. 28th she attended Avon's Hope Honors. The Hope Honors recognize outstanding leaders “who provide hope, support, help, and healing, in the fight against breast cancer and domestic violence” - with the annual event raising over $15.6 million since its inception in 2001.

Dinner Date

Lauren and Kyle were out in NYC on Oct. 27th! And they even took a cab! Earlier in the day Lauren was on the David Letterman show. Look how cute she is!

Anchor Blue Drops Heidi!

Anchor Blue will NOT be renewing their contract with Heidi and her line Heidiwood. Here are two of the statements that have been released.

A spokesperson for the chain told press, “We just felt that the one year was a great year for both of us, and we’re looking into other options. We really found that we want to explore … what style really means to our girl … and that doesn’t necessarily mean a celebrity brand. It really means fashion and comfort, and we can really accomplish that with our own brand.”

A rep for Anchor Blue told press, “Anchor Blue and Heidi Montag are pleased with what Heidiwood for Anchor Blue accomplished during this past year. However Anchor Blue chose not to extend the Heidiwood contract after the initial year as they will be concentrating solely on what their heritage, their foundation, is based on - denim.”

Thursday night Spencer and Heidi attended the SVEDKA Vodka-sponsored event "Lights, Camera, Election!"

Politics

Heidi and Spencer were out trying to get photographed again this week, but this time in staged Republican gear. Spencer’s shirt read, “Vote Palin For VP: God, Guns, Glory,” while Heidi’s pink tank had a picture of lips, and read, “Read My Lipstick: Vote McCain-Palin.” And yes, Spencer is carrying a 6-pack and a GUN!

Loyal

After watching the past two episodes (epis 10 and 11) it appears to me that Spencer needs to find out what the definition of loyalty is. I found it very funny that he was telling Stephanie that he would start being nice to her once she was loyal to him because they are Family. But at the same time he was also telling Heidi to kick her sister out because he didn't like her being in his "office."

What happened to being loyal to your family?

I did enjoy when Heidi snapped back at Spencer when he was calling Holly a "freeloader" and Heidi said, "What about last year when you lived on your sister's couch for two months!" That was pretty great!

Shack Attack!!!

Monday morning Lauren was spotted dropping Kyle off at his car. According to witnesses, Mr. Howard parked up the street to avoid his car being seen. After saying goodbye, Lauren went to a friend’s house to hang for a few hours. Enjoy the pic of Lauren and Kyle from last week.

Not really in school?

Hot of the Perez press, a student reports that Lauren isn't really a student at FDIM. She wrote, "Hey Perez I'm a student at FIDM and Lauren was here Friday with Stephanie Pratt filming scenes for the hills…L.C showed up filmed scenes CHANGED OUTFITS into a striped tube top to seem as if it was another day they were filming at the school and filmed some more. during the breaks she hung out with the crew as if it was a tv taping…this is not reality at all! She didn't even go to a class!!! how fake!" Good thing LC will be retiring soon.

New BFFs

Audrina and Heidi were out and about shopping like BFFs do!

And according to Perez, "Heidi Montag's former boyfriend, season 1 Hills star Jordan Eubanks, says that Heidi's changed so much since she started Spender Pratt - and it's not just her tits he's talking about! 'I'm telling you, she's completely different. She's done a total 180, and I think it's so sad,' he says.
Pal Brian Drolet, another season 1 castoff, adds, 'Spencer has done a great job of exploiting Heidi. If I ever see them out, I might hit 'em with something. They are just ridiculous.'"

OMG!!!

That's right, get ready to gasp a huge "OMG!" According to Extra Lauren and Heidi have become friends again! Here is what went down on Tuesday, October 14th:

It was a total "accident" that Speidi happened to be getting drinks at STK where Lauren's crew was headed after the LA Fashion show. Of course Speidi "didn't know" that LC's crew was there! Not sure I believe that! Anyway, Extra reported that Lauren and Heidi saw each other and said "Hi" before Lauren went back to her exclusive party area. Lauren told Extra that Heidi was "cool" and "it was no problem she was there," just as long Pratt didn't cause any trouble.
And according to PerezHilton "Heidi pulled an Extra producer aside to say she wanted to chat with Conrad, so the show arranged for the two to speak. The show watched on as the two chatted for a moment. The two ladies suddenly burst into tears – AND HUGGED! After the tearful reunion, Heidi thanked Extra for arranging the meeting and said, "It's a great [fashion] line and I love Lauren so congratulations."

This is pretty exciting! I wonder if The Hills cameras were rolling?! I sure hope so!

Let the Filming Begin!

Whitney has been out in NYC filming scenes for her new show The City. I am not so sure about her outfit, but I am pretty sure I'll be tuning in for the show in early 2009!

Yesterday Spencer and Heidi went to the Pumpkin Patch to attract the attention of the Paparazzi, and they did it! I mean seriously, how fake do you have to be?!

LA Fashion Week

Lauren Conrad was fantastic at the Mercedes-Benz LA Fashion Week Spring 2009 Fashion Show yesterday. Even “Girls Next Door” babe Holly Madison was there to check out Lauren's line.

But Lauren is still thinking about leaving The Hills, "It’s coming to a point where I love this show so much, but I’m ready to kind of walk away. I’ve been doing it for five years now. Five years on TV is a really, really long time.”

A normal life is what Lauren wants when, and if, she leaves. “It’s more difficult when not only everyone knows about your problems, but they make them worse because things escalate and things get twisted. It’s hard to have an actual friendship be torn apart in the media.”

But Lauren almost had a major fashion uh-oh, check it out:

Cheap

Recently Speidi has been seen at Taco Bell and Waffle House instead of their usual fancy hot spots. Do you think they are having money troubles? Maybe it's not money issues, but that they are rushed for time because they are too busy talking bad about their "co-stars."

Heidi recently talked to the press about Whitney's inflated price tag, “I don’t think that’s a very smart idea. I’m praying for her because I think she needs it.” She continued, “I think that was the problem with other people’s lines. They’re too expensive, especially for what they are and for how much they cost. People are going to spend that much money, they’re most likely gonna buy a huge designer. I think right now it’s just a little silly.” That’s why she priced her own Anchor Blue line well within reach of the buying public. “I want my fans to be able to get it; I want everyone to be able to access it. Fashion is not for the rich, it’s for everybody. It’s just a fun way to express yourself, if anything it should be affordable for everybody.”

So basically Heidi is cheap...

Bratt Pack...

The Bratt Pack, I mean Pratt Pack, were seen out early yesterday morning enjoying a meal together. Does this mean that Stephanie has dropped Lauren so she can be friends with Heidi and Spencer again?!

Awkward!

Can anyone say Awkward?! Last night the Hills hotties went to a club to film scenes for the show. Too bad Audrina and Lauren have been dueling it out over their myspace blogs over the drama about Lauren hooking up with Justin Bobby. I bet the episode they filmed will be very AWKWARD!

Heidi and Spencer recently worked the drive thru window at Taco Bell. I know the food might make you barf, especially if Speidi is serving it up!

Happy Birthday Lo

Lauren and Lo were in Vegas last weekend to celebrate Lo's birthday a bit early. Maybe they were also celebrating that Audrina is out of their house?!

On October 6th Lauren went to dinner with.....JASON!!! I mean seriously?! Why? Wonder what his fiance thinks about that...maybe he's not engaged anymore?! We'll have to wait and see!

Ultimate Stab in the Back!!!

Remember when I blogged back in July about the tension between Lauren and Audrina over Justin Bobby?! Here's the link: http://thehillsbythehill.blogspot.com/2008/07/mtv-missed-real-drama.html Anyway, it looks like more rumors are flying about Lauren hooking up with Justin Bobby!!!!! Perez Hilton reported that one of Justin Bobby's friends told Audrina that Justin Bobby and Lauren hooked up. "When confronted, Justin admitted to Audrina that he and L.C. hooked up," a source told PerezHilton. Supposedly this confession just happened this week.

This is on Audrina's blog today in response to all the rumors: "I woke up this morning and it seems like just about every gossip magazine or blog has a story about Lauren hooking up with Justin. I'm not sure what to believe. Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful. I can't comment on whether they are true or false." This is getting intense!

But this just in! Lauren told InTouchWeekly, "These accusations are so crazy it's difficult for me to take them seriously. While my usual taste in guys isn't always perfect, I do prefer they shower regularly." Wow!

Thank you Perez!

So I must admit that I love Perez Hilton. I look to his website often for the latest, and juiciest real drama. He never fails me. Today he made me laugh out loud in my cube and here is why. On occassion Mr. Hilton will do a feature titled "Separated at Birth" and put up pictures of 2 celebrities that look similar. Well, today's was a HUGE hit! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Light Weight...

...and I don't mean easy to get buzzed. Yesterday Lauren was carrying around a bottle of Light Weight which is a drink developed by physicians to increase calories burnt per hour. I think I need to get some Light Weight! And yes, people really do care what Lauren drinks!
